The Bexley, Dartford and Gravesham boroughs have undergone significant regeneration in recent decades.
North Kent is now a gateway to Europe with the opening of Ebbsfleet International Station in 2008 supplying direct services to and from Paris and Brussels.
The opening of Bluewater Shopping Centre in 1999 provided significant employment opportunities to add to those provided by The Broadway Shopping Centre in Bexleyheath over a decade earlier.
Perhaps the outstanding image in the area is the iconic Dartford Bridge opened in 1991 to compliment the ground breaking Dartford Tunnel to link Kent with Essex under the Thames.
Housing also feature high on local priorities with the award winning Ingress Park on the banks of the Thames at Greenhithe nearing completion and the exciting new town of Ebbsfleet Valley, complete with it's own leisure facilities, school and shops, set to provide great opportunites for local businesses as well as 10000 state of the art homes.
Leisure facilities are also in abundance with the Crook Log Sports Centre in Bexleyheath, David Lloyd Fitness Centre in Dartford and Cygents and Cascade Leisure Centres in Gravesend.
